When ABSA decided to refurbish its data centre in Cresta, Johannesburg it asked its architects to come up with an environmentally sustainable cladding solution that would enhance the exterior of the building while also helping to address noise pollution caused by the generators that sit on the building’s roof.
We worked alongside the steel contractor to supply and install ALPOLIC® aluminium composite cladding panels. We installed standard panels across much of the building and then took measurements for filler panels which were manufactured to size in our factory and shipped to site.
The majority of the building was clad in a stainless steel metallic colour (ALPOLIC® Ref M7788) with red flange panels providing contrast.
“It has been a pleasure working with Africlad on this project. Your product is world class and the on and off site management is professional and to be commended. May our paths cross again.”
