The East Rand Galleria Mall in Boksburg is in the process of complete redevelopment and will be renamed East Point Mall. AfriClad has been contracted to do the cladding and Equitone Fibre Cement was the cladding of choice.

First African Claddings (previously known as AfriClad), division of Helderberg Technology Holdings (previously known as First African Holdings), was invited by AECOM, as a selected sub contractor, to tender on the AHU plant room screens on the R2bn Bay West Mall project in Port Elizabeth.
The sub contract comprised of the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the AHU Screen Walls was awarded to First African Holdings with Murray & Roberts, as Principal Contractor. The mall is central to the development of the Bay West City Project.
Atholl Square is Sandton’s convenient neighborhood centre and situated on Katherine Street. AfriClad, subsidiary of First African Holdings, was contracted to supply and install Equitone fibre cement cladding. Shabangu Architects was the architectural firm on this project.
First African Holdings Pty Ltd (FAH) has been assessed and verified as a level 3 contributor to B-BBEE.
FAH has been assessed and verified by Middel & Partners and the Codes of Good Practice on Black Economic Empowerment, the standard being applied.
A level 3 status has been achieved, with a BEE procurement recognition level of 110%, with 29,23% Black ownership and a 10 % Black Women Ownership.
ALPOLIC took note when the industry was looking for “faster” and “easier” ceiling panel installation techniques. Understanding the practical problems of the industry, and by adjusting to industry requirements, ALPOLIC assisted by finding a new way to enhance the actual fabrication processes.
